St. Pete Employee Spotlight: Michaela

Each month, we’re proud to spotlight an excellent member of our team from each of our locations. This month in St. Pete, we’re happy to shine the spotlight on Michaela, our Lead Guest Coordinator. 

Michaela spent her career in hectic, fast-paced service industry jobs before joining the Massage Studio team two years ago. The zen environment, with an emphasis on balance and self care, is what initially drew her to Massage Studio, and now she plays an instrumental role in curating that environment for our guests. 

On a day to  day basis, Michaela helps guide her fellow Guest Coordinators when they have questions or need extra help. She also helps support the administrative functions that keep the St. Pete location running smoothly. 

When asked her favorite part of working at Massage Studio, Michaela emphasizes her daily guest interactions. “I love when you can just feel the weight that's been lifted off guests' shoulders when they come out of a massage. Everyone is always so grateful, and it's such a rewarding feeling that makes me proud of our massage therapists,” she said. 

In her life outside of work, Michaela loves to work on her creative endeavors and support art of all types. She loves live music, supporting local creative events, and always has her sketchbook on her to work on one of her excellent drawings. She hopes that the skills she’s learned at Massage Studio will continue to propel her in her dream career: “I have learned so many tools with organization, time management, and professional customer service. I plan to be an art teacher one day, so I can use those skills to keep myself on track and enjoy my dream career fully!”

We’re so proud of the growth we’ve seen in Michaela in her time at Massage Studio, and we hope she’ll continue to grow and blossom into a leader with our team.
