June Employee Spotlight: Katie

What is your role? 

My day-to-day responsibilities include performing massage treatments, assessing guests' needs, creating tailored treatment plans, maintaining a clean and relaxing environment and ensuring client satisfaction.

My massage specialty areas include Swedish massage for relaxation and stress relief, deep tissue massage for targeting specific muscle issues and aromatherapy for enhancing the overall massage experience.

How long have you been with Massage Studio?

I started my journey in the massage industry in June 2023 when I attended massage school. I graduated on February 1st, 2024, and was licensed and employed by February 15th.

What made you choose Massage Studio? 

I was inspired to start a career in massage because I am passionate about healing and helping people feel better.

What’s your favorite part of your job? 

My favorite part of my job is seeing the positive impact my massages have on clients, helping them feel relaxed, rejuvenated and happier overall.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, visiting amusement parks and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
