St. Pete Employee Spotlight: Elizabeth G.

Meet Elizabeth, one of our incredible Massage Therapists in St. Pete. This month, we are highlighting Elizabeth’s incredible work ethic, and commitment to the Massage Studio Team. We recently asked Elizabeth a few questions about her Massage Studio experience, and why she loves working here:

  1. How long have you been in the massage industry, and how long specifically with Massage Studio?

2 1/2 years for both. Massage studio was my first job right out of massage school.

  2. What are your massage specialty areas?

I love neuromuscular and therapeutic massage. I have been told by many clients that I bring good energy into my sessions.

  3. What’s your favorite part of your job?

People with a lot of knots lol. I love hearing later that my guest can sleep with peace at night or get back into exercise or not have as many headaches anymore. All because of the level of skill I can provide them in their journey to healing their body.

  4. What made you choose Massage Studio?

I loved the business model and knew the person responsible for creating Massage Studio had a good head on their shoulders and knew the realities of business. Thus I met Veronica and was proven right.

  5. How has Massage Studio supported your career goals?

Massage Studio is a wonderful environment to explore who you are as a massage therapist. It does not have the hustle and bustle of a corporate environment. Massage Studio has allowed me to discover my niche as a massage therapist and has helped identify my future goals of being my own boss and having my own business.

  6. What do you like to do outside of work?

Painting, walking, any projects with my hands, and problem solving puzzles or project. I also play violin.

  7. What does a perfect day off look like to you?

Quiet morning, walk to get coffee, relaxing/meditation in nature, nap, movie and lunch, experience something new, quiet evening. As much away from the world as possible.

  8. What have you learned from working at Massage Studio?

The most important thing is how the massage industry works so I can give myself a sporting chance of success.
