St. Pete Employee Spotlight: Andrea G.
Meet Andrea, one of our incredible Massage Therapists in St. Pete! Her multitude of talents in massage therapy helps our guests feel relaxed and at ease on their healing journey. We recently asked Andrea a few questions about her experience working with us:
How long have you been in the massage industry, and how long specifically with Massage Studio?
I have been in the massage industry for almost a year, and as soon as I received my license I started working at Massage Studio! So basically I began my massage therapy journey with this wonderful company!
What inspired you to start a career in massage?
I have always wanted to be involved with helping people in some way. I've been interested in the human body for some time now, and I felt massage therapy was the most fitting for me! I love being able to make others feel better in their skin, whether that's to release any stress that they are carrying or to help them with chronic pain that has caused them to change what they love doing on a day-to-day basis.
What are your massage specialty areas?
Since I am fairly new to the massage world, I still am excited to dive deep into new modalities. But right now I really enjoy Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Swedish and I always like throwing in some reflexology and craniosacral in my work.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part about my job is hearing that I am making a difference in people's lives!
What made you choose Massage Studio?
I love that Massage Studio is a small business! It has become a second family to me, and I am so grateful to be a part of it!
How has Massage Studio supported your career goals?
Massage Studio is such a supporting team to be a part of. I feel like I am inspired and growing every day, in every way!
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I really love being outside with nature, going for a bike ride, yoga, reading books and taking care of all my plant babies! I am also a crafter of sorts, anything from crocheting, making dreamcatchers, jewelry, etc. Music is also a huge part of my life, so anytime I can get to a show I am in pure bliss when I get to dance with my friends!
